Verizon intros XLTE-ready Ellipsis 8 tablet

Verizon on Thursday quietly added a new low-cost Android tablet to its roster. Dubbed the Ellipsis 8, it's an 8-inch XLTE-ready device with midrange hardware.

Although billed as having a "full HD" display, the tablet has a 1,280x800-pixel resolution. Considerably lower than what
